This is a delicious, but simple way to impress the family with your cooking skills. It goes very good with roasted asparagus. If you make the asparagus, make extra lemon-caper butter and use it over the asparagus too.


2-6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 Tbsp Butter
Juice of ½ lemon
1 Tbsp Capers


  1. Cook salmon — Salmon can be baked, broiled or pan fried. Cook until flesh is firm.
  2. In a small saucepan melt butter, add capers and lemon juice. Heat over a low flame until it starts to simmer.
  3. Spoon over salmon, and serve hot.
