Japanese Soy, Mirin and Sesame Sauce
(scallops, vegetable dishes, beef salad or pan-fried steak)

1/2 cup tahini
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup coriander leaves
1/3 cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce
2 tablespoon mirin (rice cooking wine)
3 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil

1. Place the tahini and garlic in a food processor (blender) and process briefly. Add the coriander, rice vinegar, lime juice, soy sauce and mirin. Process until smooth.2. Mix the oil and sesame oil together and , with the motor still running, slowly add to the food processor. The sauce will thicken but still have a pourable consistency.
